Ok, so I know Ive been slacking on the blog but give me a break its the holidays!!!
Now that Ive stuffed my fat face with cookies, candy and lots and lots of chex mix its time for me to make my annual weight loss resolution... ho hum, nothing new to see here.
For those of you who dont know me I weigh around 210 pounds at just 5'4" so it goes without saying that I have a weight problem. I havent always been fat, I was skinny(er) for a little while but I gained it all once I got out of college and I was working more than exercising. I've tried the gym thing and I dont like all the muscleheads there, they scare me, so I need to stick to a good diet but I always crash on it when I try... I'm weak!
The problem I have is that I can never stick with a diet past the middle of January. I don't know whether its because I set myself up for too much of a change and its too much for me to handle, or if I am just not destined to lose weight... whatever it is I am AWFUL at sticking to diets.
Ive tried them all... weight watchers, medifast, p90x (which is TERRIBLY HARD by the way!), I dont recommend it unless you're a baseball player or something and can handle it because it's crazy pushups, pullups, and all sorts of squats that made it hard for me to stand after just one day. It's really wild but way out of my league for sure.
Anyway I'm not sure what diet I'm going to do this year but I have a couple days to decide. I'm thinking maybe nutrisystem or something but I dont know if thats any better than medifast was and that was hard to stick to. I think nutrisystem is a little better because its more real food and less shakes but its still freeze dried crap that probably tastes like chewing on a dirty shoe so I just dont know if I can stick with it. I need to do something though.
I dont know if anyone is reading this but if you have some advice for a cute lovable little cubby fan please let me know in the comments and I will give it a try. Seriously I need to do pretty much whatever it takes to lose weight!
